HEATING/COOLING — OFFICE SPACE
Heating and cooling was to be provided from the landlord’s base build chilled / hot water circuits. New CHW and LTHW pipework was installed from the connection points within the riser to serve fan coil units within the office space.
Ducted fan coil units were installed with all systems ‘on show’ and co-ordinated with the acoustic baffles installed as part of the Cat B fit-out
HEATING/COOLING — OFFICE SPACE
New Mitsubishi DX single splits were installed to provide comfort cooling to the broadcasting studios. Stringent acoustic and performance criteria for the studios was of paramount importance in the design.
Ducted AC units were installed with grille selection and air flows based on carefully meeting the required noise standards.
VENTILATION
New ventilation ductwork was installed from the main risers to serve the FCU’s. Ductwork was co-ordinated with all other services to ensure overall design aesthetics were maintained.
Local extract systems were installed to the tea points.
BMS
A new BMS system was installed to control the new services and integrated into the base build system.
